What are the requirements for becoming an EMT?
To enroll in our EMT program and pursue certification, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: You must be at least 17 1/2 years old.
- Education: You must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification: A valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) is required before starting the course. If you don’t have this certification, we offer CPR training at our facility, click here to register for a CPR class.
- Health Requirements: Proof of vaccinations and a physical exam may be required, depending on local or state regulations.
Meeting these requirements ensures you are prepared to begin training as an EMT and meet state certification standards. If you have any questions about the qualifications, feel free to reach out!
Where are you located?
We have two convenient campus locations:
- Rancho Cucamonga Campus: 8429 White Oak Ave, Suite 102, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730
- Anaheim Campus: 1381 N Miller St, Anaheim, CA 92806
Both campuses offer the same high-quality EMT training programs with experienced instructors, providing hands-on learning environments.
What is the difference between the Hybrid Program and the In-Person Programs?
The key difference between our Hybrid Program and In-Person Programs is the learning format:
- Hybrid Program ($1200): This option combines online learning with in-person skills sessions. The majority of the coursework is completed online at your own pace, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. However, there are designated in-person days where you must come to campus for hands-on skills training and assessments.
- In-Person Programs ($1000): These programs, including our 6-week and 10-week night courses, require attendance on campus for the full duration of the class. You will complete all lectures, skills practice, and assessments in a traditional classroom setting, following a structured schedule.
Both options provide the same curriculum and lead to EMT certification, but the hybrid program is ideal for students who need more flexibility, while the in-person program is better for those who prefer a structured, classroom-based environment.
